I hope that you are excited to begin your time at Stevenson next year. I am certainly looking forward to working with you and your family! I am the registrar for the upper division, and one of my roles is to help you choose the courses that will best meet your academic goals and personal interests for next year. You can start taking steps to request courses now.

  • The Curriculum Guide pages are a good resource. The main page comprises an overview of some policies related to courses, and the Course Listings By Department contain placement requirements and course descriptions for each department. You might also like using the course map and the  four year planning worksheet to help you plot your path through to graduation.
  • Discuss your ideas about which courses you should request with your family.
  • If you or your family have questions, you can reach out directly to me.
  • Then complete the course request form on your applicant Pirate Page. Click on the Classes tab to see some information and a link to the course request form.

Your answers on the course request form represent the start of a conversation about the courses you will take, and are not final or binding. If you change your mind before the start of school you may simply email me to continue the conversation. If we cannot offer a course due to low student interest or teacher assignments I will let you know and help you choose another option.

Again, if you have any questions, please reach out to me. I look forward to working with you to plan for an exceptional first year at Stevenson.

Kind regards,

Mrs. Liz O’Hara
