Lower & Middle Divisions

• Carmel Campus picture day for students will take place tomorrow, Monday, September 9. Ordering information will be available on your Pirate Page approximately two to three weeks after picture day. Please contact Jackie DiYanni with any questions.
• Last week you received an email from our new Director of After-School Programming, Maddy Springfield. During her first two weeks with Stevenson, Maddy has been working diligently to create a more dynamic, organized, and enriching after-school experience for our students. To give Maddy the time she needs to finalize and fine-tune these exciting improvements, we are postponing the start of our Kindergarten – Grade 8 after-school program to Monday, September 16. This brief delay will ensure that we deliver the best possible program for your children. Please check your Pirate Page for registration information. For those with Pre-K students, please note that the after-school program will continue uninterrupted, running as usual from 2:45-3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Our first lower and middle division assembly of the school year will take place this Tuesday, September 10 from 8:30-9:00 a.m. Families are invited and encouraged to attend. Please note that there will be no late start for middle division students as a result.
• We look forward to seeing parents and guardians at Back to School Night on Tuesday, September 10 from 5:00-6:15 p.m. Parking will be limited, so we encourage you to plan ahead and be mindful of our neighbors' driveways. Lower division families will gather at the lower division lawn in front of the grades 3 and 4 classrooms at 5:00 p.m. before visiting with grade-level teams. Middle division families will gather at the middle division amphitheater at 5:00 p.m. before visiting with grade-level teams.
• Mark your calendars for our Welcome Back Family Coffee, Friday, September 13 at 8:30 a.m. *This coffee was originally scheduled for September 5.

Middle Division

• Please use your placards when picking up your children from school. Middle division placards were distributed in Advisory. Please check your child's backpack if you haven't seen them. If you need additional placards for others who drive your children, please contact Jackie DiYanni.
• Remember to let us know if your child is missing school for any reason. Your Pirate Page has a link to report absences. This is a safety consideration for the school.

Science Camp Reminders

• Grade 5: Big Sur, September 18-20, leaving from and returning to the Carmel Campus.
• Grade 6: Pinnacles National Park, September 17-20, leaving from and returning to the Carmel Campus.
• Grade 7: Yosemite National Park, September 16-20, leaving from and returning to the Pebble Beach Campus.
• Grade 8: Catalina Island, September 16-20, leaving from and returning to the Pebble Beach Campus.
• Medications: If your student requires medication during camp, please bring it to the office between Monday, September 9, and Wednesday, September 11. Clearly label all medications with your child's name, the medication name, dosage, route, and time taken.
• Equipment: Please look at the equipment lists to ensure your child has what they need for their camp; extra copies are available at the office.

• Please join us on campus for our annual PPC Welcome Back Coffee on Tuesday, September 10. We are also offering a virtual welcome on Thursday, September 12. Details and registrations are on your Pirate Page.
• We look forward to welcoming parents and guardians to campus for Back to School Night this Wednesday, September 11, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Back to School Night is an in-person event, and families may register here by Tuesday at noon.
