Pebble Beach Campus Updates
|
- It's Halloween week! To celebrate, there will be many activities for students on the Pebble Beach campus on Thursday, October 31. During the day, we'll enjoy our annual costume contest, and while resident students will not be able to leave campus that evening, we will offer trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving, a "Halloweenies" cookout and a student-hosted haunted house. Day students are also invited to join in the evening's festivities; events will wrap up by 8:30 p.m. We ask that everyone be thoughtful in selecting a costume to ensure that they are in keeping with our core values and do not demean anyone or any group in particular. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Student Life Office.
- Yearbook picture make-up day with Generations Photography is Friday, November 1 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in Reid Hall. Students, faculty and staff, if you missed the original yearbook picture day in August, please have your photo taken on this date. If you were unhappy with your photo taken in August, you may bring your ID card to have your picture retaken. If you have questions, please contact Michelle Boatman at [email protected].
- Resident Families: Thanksgiving break begins on Friday, November 22; all resident students must be off campus by noon on Saturday, November 23. If you wish to reserve a spot on the shuttle for your student for Thanksgiving Break, use this form. Availability is first-come-first-serve and sign-ups will close on Friday, November 15.
- Homecoming Week: We're kicking off Homecoming Week on Saturday, November 2, with our Disco Fever-themed dance from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.! Students will dust off those bell bottoms for a night filled with groovy beats, dazzling lights and amazing friends. The dance will take place on the Pebble Beach Campus; no outside guests will be allowed for this dance, however, students will be able to invite outside guests to the Winter Formal and Spring Fling dances later this year. Stay tuned for more information about Homecoming Week, which culminates with the Homecoming Football Game on Saturday, November 9.
- College Center: Revolution Prep is offering a free ACT online practice exam on Saturday, November 2 at 9 a.m. This is a chance for students to complete full-length practice tests in a timed environment, which is crucial for preparing for the official exam. A proctored practice exam will help your child build testing endurance and give a real-time snapshot of their testing performance. Register here.
