Middle Division
- Reflecting on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day: It's important to remember why we have a day off of work and school tomorrow. As we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we pause to reflect on the enduring relevance of his vision and its connection to our work as a school community. Dr. King challenged us to build communities rooted in dignity, justice and mutual respect – values that align deeply with our commitment to creating a culture of learning where every student feels seen, valued and supported. In the Middle Division, this means welcoming and celebrating our differences while actively teaching students how to listen, learn from one another and work together across perspectives. Our goal is not only academic growth, but the intentional hard work of building a community that is welcoming for every person, and one in which students learn that empathy, courage and shared responsibility are essential to shaping a more just and compassionate world.
