Lower and Middle Division
- To celebrate the new school year, please join us at the Annual Stevenson Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, September 7, 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Carmel campus. Parent volunteers will prepare and serve a delicious pancake breakfast. Reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. The whole family is invited! To join the volunteering fun, sign up here.
- Mark your calendars for Back to School Night, September 10 at 5:00 p.m.
- Picture day for students will take place on Wednesday, September 13. Ordering information will be available soon. Please contact Jackie Diyanni with any questions.
- Mark your calendars for our Welcome Back Family Coffee, Friday September 13 at 8:30 a.m. *This coffee was originally scheduled for September 5. Click here to register for this event.
- Carline Reminders: Please have your carline placards clearly displayed on your dashboard to help us move efficiently and have your students ready as you proceed through the carline. If you park on the street, please be sure to connect with an adult before your child is dismissed to you. Pre-K Carline: There's no need for you to exit your vehicle. Our staff will assist with getting your child into the car and securing them in their car seat.
Lower Division
- Beginning on Friday, September 6, local speech and language therapist Stephanie Madrigal will join our school community to facilitate Social Thinking Lunches with lower division students. The objective of these lunches is to deepen and extend our school's social and emotional curriculum in a fun and meaningful way. Please contact Kate Bitter or Nifemi Ogunsuyi if you prefer that your child not partake in this program.
Middle Division
- It is important to be aware that there is a process for changing electives for students in Grades 7 and 8. We ask that students attend one full 8-day rotation of their scheduled elective. At the end of that rotation, they can work with their advisor to request an elective change. An elective change form will be distributed to you all toward the end of the first cycle. This gives us a way to manage the process and ensure balanced classes. We appreciate your understanding.

- Please remember to check your Pirate Page often. Registrations for events and opportunities to volunteer are already posted there.
- We look forward to welcoming parents and guardians to campus for Back to School Night next Wednesday, September 11th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Back to School Night is an in-person event, and families will be invited to register later this week. Please visit our website for more information and for a link to the livestream of our administrators' welcome for those unable to join us in person.
- Athletic contests begin this week! You can find all schedule details here. For those attending games on campus, please be sure to adhere to our parking policies, which can be found on your Pirate Page. Please remember that dogs are not permitted.
- Note that Friday, September 6 is the final day to change after-school co-curriculars for the fall season. To make a change, students should see Mr. Clymo or Mr. Olson in person to discuss the process and desired changes.
- Ninth grade families, mark your calendars for our Grade 9 Retreat! All Grade 9 students will spend Sunday and Monday, September 22 and 23 at Camp Koinonia in the Santa Cruz Mountains. More information is coming soon.
- The Pirate Cup competition is a year-long competition between students. Through various challenges, students aim to rack up the most points to be deemed the winners at the end of the school year. While traditionally a residential activity (known as "Dorm Olympics"), this year the Pirate Cup is open to all. It will take place on Sunday, September 8, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Participation for day students is optional–but highly encouraged. Resident students who are going on pass for the weekend must plan to return to campus before 2:30 p.m.
