• Dusty Boots Tour This Friday: While on campus picking up your student this Friday, December 20, please join President Dr. Dan Griffiths and Director of Facilities and Capital Projects Chris Madill '86 to see the progress being made on our math, science and engineering center. We will meet in Douglas Hall at 2:15 p.m.; your student is welcome to join with you. Please be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and long pants; hard hats and safety vests will be provided. • Donate to Braxton's Toys: This program honors Braxton Stuntz '18, a beloved Stevenson student known for his compassion and care. Established by his parents, the Braxton Stuntz Foundation has received heartfelt support from the Stevenson community. Help sustain Braxton's legacy by donating a holiday gift. Donation bins are located at the Carmel Campus administrative office and in Douglas Hall and Rosen Center at the Pebble Beach campus until Friday, December 20. Lower and Middle Divisions

*Winter Holiday Break: The school break begins Saturday, December 21 and ends Sunday, January 5. Classes resume Monday, January 6.

• Holiday Box Drive: A reminder that donations to the Holiday Box Drive are due tomorrow, December 16. Click here to see the list of requested items.
• Late Start Reminder: Tuesday, December 17 is a regular late start, with Lower Division at 8:45 a.m. and Middle Division at 9 a.m.
• Spirit Week – This Week: We're celebrating the season with a fun and festive Spirit Week! Below is the schedule of themes. Please note that spirit week participation is not mandatory. Non-participating students are expected to be in uniform.
  • December 16: Merry Monday Morning – Come to school in your favorite pajamas, holiday or otherwise!
  • December 17: Tinsel Toe Tuesday – Wear your favorite wacky or holiday socks with your uniform.
  • December 18: Hair Your Way Wednesday – Show off your wildest, craziest hair! Please wear your uniform.
  • December 19: Twinkle Thursday – Dress like your favorite holiday decoration, like candy canes, presents, Christmas trees and more!
  • December 20: Festive Friday – Celebrate in style with your favorite ugly festive sweater.

• Fall Semester Reports: Student progress reports will be released to families on Friday, December 20. If you have questions or concerns, we kindly ask that you wait until after the break to reach out to your child's teachers, at which time you may schedule a meeting, if needed. Our goal is to ensure you have ample time to reflect on the report and feel supported in addressing any questions or follow-ups.
• After School Program: Current after school workshops will run up until winter break and new ones will begin on January 13. Please check your pirate page this Friday for registration for next session. Placements will be given after winter break.

Lower Division

• Holiday Book Exchange: Lower Division students are invited to participate in a holiday book exchange on Friday, December 20, followed by a class holiday celebration. Students should bring a new, wrapped book by Wednesday, December 18.
• Early Dismissal: On December 19, Pre-K dismisses at 2:45 p.m. and Kindergarten at 3 p.m., with no after-school care available, to prepare for the Holiday Performance. Parents are advised to park on nearby streets to avoid traffic. Early pickups can be arranged with teachers.

• Fall Final Assessments This Week: All class meetings this week are mandatory and cannot be rescheduled or excused due to travel plans. Teachers are available for support Monday, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.; please encourage your students to  connect with their teachers to prepare for final assessments. Fall semester reports will be available to families on January 16, 2025.
• December Community Close: Final H period exams end at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 20, followed by community activities until 2 p.m., when students are dismissed for winter break.
• December Dorm Closure: Students must leave dorms by noon on Saturday, December 21 and can return Sunday afternoon, January 5, with classes resuming January 6, 2025.
• Winter Formal: Our winter formal is Saturday, January 18, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. at Wave Street Studios, and promises to be a memorable evening for students, featuring a fun and elegant atmosphere with the theme of New York City Lights. Attire is formal and students may bring outside guests, provided they submit a completed guest pass by January 13.
