  • Closed Weekend: The weekend of April 25-27 is the final closed weekend of the year for boarding students. If students need to leave for the weekend they will need to get permission from Ms. Lucy Stockdale.
  • Induction Ceremony: On Sunday, April 27, Stevenson will be inducting a new cohort of students into the Cum Laude Society, a fellowship of scholars with the purpose of recognizing excellence in academic work. All are welcome to join in Erdman Chapel at 6:30 p.m., in celebration of these students' outstanding academic achievements. The ceremony will be followed by a dessert reception in Douglas Hall. A list of this year's inductees can be found here.
  • Junior-Senior Prom: This year's prom will be held at the beautiful Santa Lucia Preserve on Saturday, May 3. The theme is "Golden Gala" and promises to be an elegant evening. Tickets are $160 per person and include round-trip transportation, dinner, DJ entertainment, professional photography, and a 360° photo booth. The deadline to purchase tickets is Sunday, April 27. The evening starts with a pre-prom gathering at Douglas Hall, 3:45 p.m. – 5 p.m., with food, drinks and a red carpet photo opportunity! For safety and supervision purposes, all students will be transported together from campus at 5 p.m. to the venue and will return to campus together at the conclusion of the event. Boarding students will follow standard Friday evening sign-out procedures before the event, if desired, but must return to campus after prom and will not be permitted to leave campus or go on pass upon arrival. No exceptions will be made to this policy.
  • Spring Final Assessments: Spring semester classes will conclude with final assessments for all Grades 9-11 students during the week of May 19-23. Each class will have a two-hour assessment block where students will have an opportunity to actively demonstrate their learning and mastery for the course. Students are required to be present for these assessments; they may not be rescheduled. Seniors will be engaging in senior week programming during this time and will not be participating in spring final assessments.
  • X-Term Conclusion: At 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, X-Term will conclude. Students are required to remain on campus that evening. Boarding students must depart on Friday, June 6, by 5 p.m., and should plan all travel accordingly for that day.
  • Boarding Students Move Out Details: During X-Term, boarding students will need to complete a series of checkpoints to ensure their rooms are fully packed by Friday, June 6. All students are required to remain on campus until that date and must depart by 5 p.m. that day. Summer storage will be available for all returning students; more details will be shared soon. To help streamline the end-of-year process, we encourage boarding students who are going home on the upcoming weekends to take back any items they won't need for the remainder of the school year.
