Hello Karen, I hope everybody is having a great start to the year. Since we have been away for the summer, I wanted to reach out to share a few reminders regarding athletic facility access and use. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out directly to me. Regarding dogs and the athletic facilities:
- There should be NO dogs (or other pets) inside the athletic facilities.
- Specifically, inside the fences/nets/doors at any of the complexes (track/football field, gymnasium, weight room, tennis courts, pool, upper field).
- Animals should not be off leash around the athletics facilities, especially when there are practices and contests happening.
- Dogs should not go beyond the parking lot net of the upper field or beyond the fence of the football field or inside the fence at the pool.
Regarding parking:
- Please park only in designated areas. See attached photos. When people park in the driveway it creates a safety concern (ambulance access) in the event a medical issue arises during an event. When people park in the landscaping it deteriorates the area and causes additional pressure on our facilities team.
- Vehicles should not be parked on the side of the road along Viscaino near the fields.
- If you arrive and there is nowhere to park, there are usually spots available by the stop sign at the far end of the tennis courts, or in front of Wilson Field.
- Vehicles should not be driven onto the track or the upper field sidewalk or anywhere else that is not publicly accessible. This is both a safety issue and a preservation issue. Please help us monitor and protect our facilities.
I appreciate your attention to this matter. Please see me with any additional questions or concerns. Sincerely,
Justin Clymo, CAA, '93
Director of Athletics
