A Tribute to a Beloved Teacher

The John Senuta Math Center
|
"I don't teach math. I teach people." These words, spoken by John Senuta, embody the philosophy that made him one of Stevenson's most revered teachers. After 43 years of shaping young minds, Senuta retired in 2019, leaving behind a legacy of passion, humor and unwavering dedication to student success. On his last day, he jokingly remarked that if he won the lottery, there would be a math and science center in his name. Just five years later, his dream came true in a way he never imagined with the establishment of The John Senuta Math Center.
