Jay Dolata ’95, Alumni Association President, and family
October is here and there is a noticeable change in the air as the summer comes to a close and the fall begins to sneak in – a nip in the wind, shorter days, fall colors and pumpkin spice everything. It’s around this time of year I notice a warm feeling from within — it’s that Fall Feeling. That feeling that seeks to fill our hearts with tradition, friends, family and comfort foods.
Today, I reflect on the the friendships I’ve made. Just in this past month I’ve run into a handful of old friends that some of you may know: Johnny Kreitman ‘95, Anitra Grisales ‘95, Andy Lieberman ‘95, Zoe Johns ‘97. I ran into these beautiful people all on separate, random occasions. I can’t help but reflect on why the universe reconnected me with my old friends, the magic of our world, and the sweet memories that fill my heart with these Fall Feelings.
So I want to encourage everyone to get out of their minds and into their hearts this October. Reach out to an old friend, reminisce and catch a Fall Feeling.
