In an effort to provide helpful and relevant resources with our community, we are sharing information on Parenting in Place, a live masterclass series led by a group of prominent leaders in parenting, neuroscience, education, and well-being.

The first webinar in the eight-week, interactive series was held this week with a conversation about “Summer Without Camp”, led by Katherine Reynolds Lewis and Audrey Monke P ’22. Additional conversation topics include motivation, screen time, race, anxiety and building resilience, and finding peace.

Learn more and register here. There is a nominal fee for the eight-week program of $39.

This video on managing cabin fever with your children, featuring Dr. Susan Swick, physician-in-chief at Ohana, is also recommended. Susan is a Stevenson parent and trustee and her advice on helping children (and the rest of us) seek “movement, mastery and healing” this summer is worth hearing.

We will continue to share resources of value throughout the summer to further support our community.
