Stories of Impact:
Pirate Annual Fund Making a Difference
Stevenson relies on the support of its community to provide the best educational experience for its students. This campaign supports Stevenson’s most important assets: its people. There are 940 students and faculty on our campuses and each one represents a unique reason to give.
Every gift to the Annual Fund provides the needed resources for teachers to do their best work and for students to learn. We invite you to make a meaningful contribution to the Annual Fund in honor of your reason to give.
Reason #52:
Encourage Jazmin’s increased confidence
“Mrs. Clark, my advisor and English teacher, has made an immense impact on my academic career. Her help and encouragement increased my confidence in writing and allowed me to apply it to other aspects of my life. Overall, I would not be the writer or student I am today without her help.”

Reason #321:
Foster Abby’s peer connections
“I have learned so much from playing sports at Stevenson. Being a captain on the volleyball team forced me to work on responsibility, empathy, and time management skills. I have also found that sports break down a lot of barriers to potential friendships and fosters overall connections with peers and coaches. I found a new family with my team.”

Reason #11:
Inspire Jake’s creative discovery
“Mr. Pratt has been instrumental in my journey as a student and also as a human being. He has been my filmmaking teacher for the past three years (going on four). He encourages me to find the passions and ideas I want to follow in and out of the arts building and has continued to instruct me and inspire me in all fields.”

Reason #589:
Unlock Kathryn’s innovative instruction
“Thank you so much for the professional development experience this summer. I attended the Exeter Humanities Institute at Phillips Exeter Academy. It was a profound experience to see how to construct the student experience behind the scenes, and to focus on listening to students, helping them build their knowledge in an equitable way. I understand the Annual Fund is responsible for this opportunity and I really wanted to say thank you, it was very important and will alter my teaching in the years to come.”
