We will provide an overview of timelines and expectations that align with the college search and application process. We welcome all inquiries during the Q&A portion of our session. BSU’s Around the Bay College NightThursday, October 5, 6:00 p.m., Sacred Heart Prep, AthertonIn response to the Supreme Court’s decision to end race conscious admissions within the college process, the leaders of Black Student Unions Around the Bay have created “College Night” to engage in meaningful, in person discussions about college admission alongside representatives from some of the nation’s top universities. This event, which is co-sponsored by BSU chapters in both private and public Peninsula high schools, is for black-identifying prospective students and families, and aims to educate other black and African-American students and their families about their college options. The night will feature consortium-style presentations followed by a Q & A panel centered on the black student experience at these PWIs. On Wednesday, October 11, 2023, Stevenson will host the PSAT required for all students in grades 10 and 11. Students must complete the necessary steps on their testing device in order to prepare for testing day.
