Graduation Week Schedule

Wednesday, April 19

Senior Luncheon

This luncheon provides seniors with an opportunity to connect in community with select administrators and faculty as the kickoff to the graduation season. This year, the event is at Pasadera Country Club.

Saturday, May 6

Prom

Junior and senior prom provides students an opportunity to dress up on theme and celebrate the end of the year in style. This year, students traveled to San Jose in the theme of Casino Royale and enjoyed a night of dancing and casino games run by chaperones.

Wednesday, May 10

Senior Dog Day

Students were invited to bring their dogs to campus for classes.

Thursday, May 11

Senior Sweatshirt Day

Students were invited to wear gear to celebrate their college decisions. Go Pirates!

Monday, May 15

Community Honors and Awards Day

This day celebrates the outstanding achievements and contributions of students and teachers. Dress for the assemblies is formal. Students are instructed that collared shirts with pants are appropriate, as are dresses, skirts or the equivalent; denim, sweatshirts, shorts, and athletic clothing are not. Students may change for the pool party.

9:00 – 11:30 a.m. Office Hours

Teachers will be available to support catch-up work with students.

10:00–11:45 a.m. Mandatory: Graduation rehearsal #1 (Grade 12)

11:30 a.m. Mandatory: Advisee meetings (Grades 9-11)

Owing to fire code regulations, only students and faculty may attend this event.

12:00–1:00 p.m. Class barbecues

Parents/guardians are welcome to attend and invited to serve as volunteers.

Parents/guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend. Parents/guardians and other guests should sit behind the students and faculty. Formal dress for students.

Students will camp Wednesday and Thursday night in Placerville, CA and should pack appropriately for the elements (tent camping, rafting) and weather.

Wandke Amphitheater

Baccalaureate is the seniors’ last gathering as a class prior to graduation. Selected students and teachers speak and perform. Immediate family members are welcome to attend; please note, seating is limited.

Sunday, May 21

1:30 p.m. Graduation seating opens

Wandke Amphitheater

Seating for graduation is on a first-come, first served basis. No seats may be saved prior to 1:30 p.m.. Six seats are allocated per family. Please be respectful of others. Ample additional seating is provided adjacent to the amphitheater.

2:00 p.m. Seniors assemble

Learning Commons

All members of the senior class will meet in the Learning Commons at 2:30. Student dress for the day is formal: white-collared shirts with pants, dresses, skirts with blouses, or the equivalent and appropriate shoes. Graduation caps and gowns are issued at this time.

3:00 p.m. Graduation ceremony

Wandke Amphitheater

Professional photos will be taken of each graduate receiving their diploma and shared with families. A link to the live stream video will also be shared in advance.

5:00-6:00 p.m. Graduation reception

The Morgan Pool

All guests are invited to attend the celebratory reception for the graduating class immediately following the ceremony. Guests will be treated to a selection of light snacks, beverages, and music, as they socialize and congratulate our newest alumni.

7:00 p.m. Residence halls close for seniors

All senior resident students must be moved out of their rooms by 7:00 p.m.
