The lower and middle division optional Pirate Projects extension of summer assignments is in full swing and students have shared their joy in taking part. Pirate Projects are weekly tasks for hands-on discovery and out-of-the-box thinking provided throughout the summer. Parents can help their students get engaged with this initiative by reading the weekly challenges sent out each Monday and encouraging participation. So far, Pirate Projects have included activities ranging from making ice cream and lava lamps to reflecting together on how to foster the development of peace in both our local communities and the world.

Weekly challenges are emailed on Mondays and posted on parent Pirate Pages along with instructions for how to share your pictures and videos of participation with your divisional dean!
