CIF-CCS HONOR COACHES
The CCS Honor Coach Awards programs honors one varsity coach each year in each sport for his/her contributions(s) to that sport at the interscholastic level. The nominee must be an active coach at the time of nomination. The nominee shall have coached the sport for which they are nominated, at the varsity level for a minimum of five (5) years.
Consideration for selection shall be given to the maintenance of professional standards of conduct; general service to the respective sport (e.g. multi-school event director, committee participation, championship support staff, etc.); outstanding coaching accomplishments (not necessarily focused on win/loss record, championship titles, etc.); additional contributions to school and community; role model and inspiration/motivation to student-athletes, other coaches, fellow teacher, administrators, parents, community members, public.
