At Stevenson, mathematics emphasizes both analytical thinking and creative problem-solving. In our collaborative classrooms—soon to be enhanced by our state-of-the-art mathematics, science, and engineering center—students progress from foundational concepts to advanced mathematical reasoning, developing confidence in tackling complex challenges. Through engaging discussions and hands-on exploration, they build the mathematical fluency essential for future success.

Featured Courses

Advanced Algebra,  Trigonometry, Precalculus

Covers all techniques, methods, and concepts usually covered in an algebra and trigonometry course, as well as the concepts presented in a traditional precalculus course. Through direct instruction as well as hands-on activities and projects, students finish the course with a solid foundation for calculus and beyond.
