At Stevenson, computer science and engineering emphasize creative problem-solving alongside technical skills. In our laboratories and maker spaces—soon to be enhanced by our state-of-the-art mathematics, science, and engineering center—students progress from basic programming to developing sophisticated applications and engineering solutions. Through hands-on projects and real-world collaborations, they learn to harness technology while considering its broader impact, preparing them to become both capable technologists and thoughtful innovators.

Featured Courses

Data Science

Data literacy is increasingly important in our world. This course combines the vital arenas of statistical knowledge and programming skills with the purpose of analyzing and visualizing the past, as well as predicting the future.

digital fabrication

Digital Fabrication

Students will be introduced to CAD (computer-aided design), circuit building, and Arduino coding. They will then learn how to utilize those skills to design, build, and test a hands-on project.

Disciplines in Engineering

Disciplines in Engineering allows students to explore a wide range of engineering fields that involve the application of mathematical and scientific principles to design, test, and build structures, machines, devices, systems, and processes.
