Stevenson’s 2026 Summer Camps are designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and confidence. This year, our Pebble Beach camps (rising grades 5-8) are launching an exciting new structure that gives campers more choice and a more personalized experience than ever before!

Pebble Beach Camp: Majors and Elective Tracks

Pebble Beach campers – day and overnight – will now build their summer experience around a “Major” and “Elective Track,” creating a balance of focused learning and hands-on exploration.

During registration, families will select a “Major” for their camper, which guides their morning workshops for the week. Each “Major” features a rotating curriculum, allowing campers to explore new content week to week, or return to a favorite “Major” across multiple camp weeks for deeper learning.

Available Majors include:

  • Entrepreneurship
  • Marine Biology
  • Computer Science
  • Innovation
  • Language

Or campers can select one of these “Spotlight Majors” which will only be offered select weeks: Radio, Creative Writing, Robotics or AI Pioneers.

For the afternoons, campers will register for two “Elective Tracks” per week, allowing them to sample a wide range of activities and interests. Elective options include:

  • Outdoor Adventure: sports, beach games, and active fun
  • STEAM & Tech: maker space projects, digital art, and coding
  • Creative Space: visual arts, jewelry making, and dance
  • Chill Zone: board games, creative writing, cooking, and relaxation

For campers looking to specialize further, premium “Elective Tracks” including Surfing, Tennis and Golf are available in place of standard elective tracks.

Pebble Beach Camp offers both day and overnight options, along with convenient add-ons such as extended afternoon care for day campers and airport transportation for overnight campers.

“With this new structure, our Pebble Beach Summer Camp empowers campers to shape their own experience and combine academic exploration, creativity, outdoor adventure and fun in one unforgettable summer, said Kyle Cassamas, Director of Summer and Auxiliary Programs.

Carmel Summer Camp

Stevenson’s Carmel Summer Camp offers campers in Grades K-4 a warm, joyful day camp experience. With smaller groupings and a focus on creativity, movement and hands-on discovery, Carmel Summer Camp provides a nurturing introduction to summer learning and fun.

Similar to the “Majors” above for Pebble Beach, Carmel campers will select a focused track for each week of camp:

  • Creative Track: Art, building and hands-on projects that encourage imagination and expression. Campers will create imaginative, expressive projects every day.
  • Discovery Track: STEM challenges, slime and chemistry labs, and curiosity-driven exploration. Campers will explore the world through hands-on experiments and discovery.
  • Adventure Track: Outdoor games, sports, obstacle courses and movement-based fun. Campers will run, play, and explore nature in an active, outdoor-focused program.
  • Performer Track: Drama games, dance routines, storytelling, music and creative expression. Campers will express themselves through movement, music and creative performance.

The camp day will run 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., with an after-care option until 5 p.m.
