Sailing:
NorCal 1 & 2, Richmond. On Saturday Max McCormick ’24 and Stevie Thomsen ’23 placed 11th out of 30 pairs in the Gold Division. Tibet Tilic ’24 and Tim Zhao ’24 were 6th out of 30 pairs in Silver. Also in Silver, Sarah Brewster ’23 and Patrick O’Hara ’27 were 7th; Luc DuPreez ’23 and Sadie Marinerstein ’24 were 10th; and Abbie Zhang ’24 and Quinn Karm ’23 were 13th. On Sunday in Gold, McCormick and Thomsen were 8th out of 24. In Silver DuPreez and Marinerstein won the thirty-boat fleet; Karm and Zhang were 8th; Kilic and Zhao were 12th, and Brewster and O’Hara were 21st.
Sea Otter Regatta, Monterey. Karm, McCormick, Thomsen and Ryder Weston ’23 placed 19th of twenty-four teams in the Gold Division; their best race was a 10th by Weston and Karm. The Silver Division team of DuPreez, Kilic, Marinerstein, O’Hara, Zhang and Zhao placed 17th out of twenty-nine teams. Their best race was an 8th by DuPreez and Marinerstein.
Ben Watson Race, Monterey. Marinerstein and Zhang won the Stevenson-only event, a memorial race in honor of Watson ’03.
NorCal 4, Alameda. In the thirty-four boat Gold Division, Karm and Weston were 3rd, while McCormick and Thomsen were 4th. The Silver Division had thirty-three boats; Kilic and Zhao were 7h, Marinerstein, Brady Wang ’23 and Zhang combined for 13th, and Brewster and O’Hara were 14th.
Anteater Regatta, Newport Beach. The Pirate Varsity boat, sailing in the Silver Division, was shared by Karm, Thomsen, Weston and McCormick. They placed 3rd—the highest rank among NorCal schools. Kilic, Marinerstein, Zhang and Zhao, also in Silver, placed 23rd among thirty-two teams.

Nikki Iniakov ’25 was named Player of the Year for the PCAL Gabilan division for Girls Golf
Nikki Iniakov ’25 advanced to the Girls Golf State Championship for the second year in a row.
Sofia Bozzo ’23 was named MVP of the PCAL Gabilan division for girls water polo.
Emmerson Ferriera ’25 was named Offensive Player of the Year of the PCAL Gabilan division for girls water polo.
Sienna Cimoli ’25 was named Defensive Player of the Year of the PCAL Gabilan division for girls water polo.
Tate Escher ’24 was named Defensive Player of the Year of the PCAL Gabilan division for boys water polo.
Wyley Dale ’23 was named MVP and Offensive Player of the Year of the PCAL Gabilan division for boys water polo.
Coach Justin Clymo was nominated for CIF State Coach of the Year in Boys Basketball.
Curtis Da Silva ’23 signed a National Letter of Intent to play golf at Pepperdine.
Wyley Dale ’22 committed to UC Irvine to play water polo.
Sofia Bozzo ’23 committed to UC Davis to play water polo.
Trent Toole committed to Villanova to play baseball.
