Athletics Recap: Winter 2024

Girls Soccer: The team secured the Santa Lucia division title finishing 11-2-4 overall and 10-0-2 in PCAL league play. They also earned a spot in the play-in game for CCS.

Boys Soccer: The team won their first league title since 1982 and made the CCS playoffs for the first time since 2012, earning the #1 seed in the CCS D5. The team marched through CCS winning the first ever soccer title, before advancing to the NorCals where they fell 2-0 in the championship game after winning in sudden death OT in the first round and PKs in the second. They finished 16-4-6 overall and 9-0-3 in PCAL league play.

Girls Basketball: The team finished with a 3-9 record in the Mission Division. Overall record of 6-17.

Boys Basketball: The team finished with a 4-10 record in the Mission Division. Second place. Overall record of 10-16. They earned a #10 seed in CCS and advanced to the second round.

  • NorCal 5, Feb 10: Max McCormick ’24 & Patrick O’Hara ’27: 5th place out of 23 boats in Gold Division. Abbie Zhang ’24 & Sadie Marinerstein ’24:  7th place in Gold Division. Tibet Kilic ’24, Dillan Spence ’27 and Steven Li ’27: 3rd place out of 23 boats in Silver Division
  • NorCal 6, Feb 11: Max McCormick ‘24 & Patrick O’Hara ’27: 1st place out of 14 boats in Gold Division. Tibet Kilic ’24, Dillan Spence ’27 and Steven Li ’27: 5th place in Gold Division. Abbie Zhang ’24 & Sadie Marinerstein ’24:  8th place in Gold Division
  •  Golden Bear Regatta, Feb 24-25:  Abbie, Sadie, Patrick & Max: 4th place out of 31 teams in Silver Division. Aaron Eagle ’27, Dillan, Claire Lee ’26 & Tibet: 16th in Silver Division

  • Nikki Iniakov ’25 committed to play golf at an Ivy League School.
  • Amani Wilson ’24 committed to play football at University of Redlands
